Mercedes
Benz 107 Coupe 450SLC models began life on the C107 # 107.024 Chassis
and sold from 1973 through 1980 in US Markets.
From 1973-1975 they used the Bosch D Jetronic fuel injection system.
The official introduction of the 450SL and SLC in non-North American markets began in March 1973.
From July 1974 the SL Roadster and SLC Coupe could also be ordered with a fuel-injected 2.8L straight-6 as 280 SL and 280 SLC.
In September 1977 the 450 SLC 5.0 joined the line, which was a pepped up version with an all-aluminum five-liter V8 engine boasting more horsepower.
US models used the 4.5 liter M117.982 engine from 1973-1975, and the M117.985 V8 Motor from 1976-1980.
The 450SLC chassis #107.024 carried the model through its production of 31,739 cars.
