Beginning
in 1971 the 350SLC became the first 107 series C107 Coupe’s Mercedes
Benz vehicles to be released for sale in Europe. This model was produced
through the year 1980 for the European markets.
The true European 350SLC was powered by the M116 3.5 liter engines #116.982 and #116.984 through its production period of 1971-1980. They produced 197hp/191hp horsepower respectively, or 147/143 kW kilowatt-sat.
The 350SLC C107 Coupe chassis #107.023 carried the model through production of 13,925 cars.
