OM314 Technical Data

The OM314 was released in 1964, along with the 6-cylinder analogue OM 352 engine that replaced the predecessor - OM301. Specifications for volume of 3780 cubic centimeters correspond to 345 cubic inches. There were two models of the 314 engine (OM 314 Diesel and OM 314 A Turbo Diesel). Combine harvesters used OM 314. Designation "A" indicates a turbo-version of the engine. The Turbo version OM 314 A Engine 314.970 specifications were 63 KW (85 PS/DIN)

These engines are very popular and widely used in the 1960's. Licensed by Mercedes-Benz, plants in Brazil and South Africa increased developed and production.
