Mercedes 5-Speed Manual Transmission Interchange Compatibility

The series 717.402. mates to all straight-six M110 Gasoline Engines as well as the entire M180 series of mid-sized 6-Cylinder Gasoline Engines, including all M123, M127, M129, M130 & M180 motors. In addition, it mates to the 8-cylinder M116 and M117 gasoline engines found in the C107 & R107 chassis. Will also fit other chassis vehicles with this series of motors (W108, W109, W111, W116) with some conversion necessary.

(some people reported broken third gear somewhere around 300hp om603)

717.450 Getrag dogleg gearbox, info about it being both a ZF and Getrag box has circulated, but it seems it is a Getrag as a friend had one clearly marked
