Series (W210) 1995-2003 Production Models
The Mercedes-Benz W210 Series of E-Class automobiles were produced from 1995 to 2003 along with the wagon variant (series code S210). The W210 replaced the W124 series with both sedan-saloon, and station wagon body types.
Petrol models included: E 200 / Kompressor, E 230 / Kompressor, E 240, E 280, E 320, E 420, E 430, E 36 AMG, E 50 AMG, E 55 AMG, E 60 AMG, E 60 AMG 6.3. Diesel models included: E 200 D, E 220 D, E 200 CDI, E 220 CDI, E 250 D, E 270 CDI, E 290 D, E 300 D, E 320 CDI
The
final W210 production models included the E 320 and E 430 special editions.
AMG models used 4 engines in the W210, the E36, M104.995, launched in
1996, the M119.985 in the Euro Spec E50 AMG produced only in 1997, an
M119.985 that was bored out to a 6.0L V8 was housed in E60 models, and
in 1998 the M113 5.4L V8 SOHC 24V powered E55 was added.
